Faith Series
I'm really grateful for your new series; "Faith in the ICU". I admire and I am inspired by your focus on your patients mind, body and soul. I too, was one of those who would "shy away" from faith while seeing my patients in the hospital. But I've come to believe that the "ministry" you talked about in one of your episodes can be crucial to the well being of patients and families; especially for those who are facing death. I think it helps them to place some meaning or purpose to the inevitable. It helps them to believe that there their life was not in vain. Thank you for your courage and openness in showing compassion to your patients and paving the way for other healthcare givers to do the same.
Ran out of tissues
I have been thinking about you and your family all day - what a beautiful tribute to your angel - she is an inspiration to us all - sending pink thoughts and vibes today and everyday
Transparency
I really appreciate Dr Hassaballa's openness about how he views the world around him. Whether you agree with his opinions and beliefs or not, you can't help but admire the man for his transparency and deep concern for the decency, fairness and wellbeing of those around him.
Great message
Thank you Dr. Hassaballa for having the courage and grace to open up this dialogue!! This is such an important part of humans taking care of humans and the ability to minister to the whole person! Loved what you said about being an agent of healing and the spiritual part is such a vital component of this if it is central to the patient' s healing. Thank you for your continued example and all that you do to serve your patients and families. Thinking of you and your family during this holiday season. Take care.
